Project “Kilometry dobra” is aimed to promote active lifestyle and help HIV-positive children. The 6th city marathon will gather amateur athletes from different countries as well as Ukrainian stars, social leaders and representatives of business. Famous people of the country will run for good cause and call Ukrainians to join the run and donate one of the charity projects selected by Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace (Ukrainska Birzha Dobrochynnosti). The participants of the marathon will be accompanied by the Olympic champion, Champion of the world and Europe for gymnastics Lilia Podkopayeva, TV and radio presenter Vasilisa Frolova, ICTV channel presenter Anna Ahava Teslenko, the Director of Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation Olha Rudneva, peoples deputy Boryslav Bereza, Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children’s Rights Mykola Kuleba and Jean Gritsfeldt, the designer.

Sushiya team will run its kilometers of kindness to raise funds for supporting mobile clinics providing care for HIV-positive children in small townships all over Ukraine. The team is planning to raise at least 50 000 hryvnas - the amount that shall help one mobile clinic to operate in small towns away from big cities for at least six months. Anyone can join the project on UBB.

Here in Sushiya we have realised that company’s success, its growth and development is not mainly about business as it is. No matter how much we love restaurant business, no matter how good we are in doing our job, social communication must not end with providing good meal to our Guests,“ - says Rostislav Hryhorenko, Sushiya finance manager. Corporate social responsibility is not just a trend, even if very positive. It becomes a part of our activity and team philosophy that’s why we appraise the possibility to walk and run our “Kilometry dobra” and make our country better. We call our Guests to support this noble initiative and help children struggling HIV”.

Fundraising marathon for mobile clinics is going within the frames of Safe Connection  project of Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation. All raised money will be spent on expendables, equipment and involving of extra doctors and social workers to operate mobile clinics in regions.

“We are happy to race our kilometers of kindness together with famous Ukrainians, journalists and representatives of our favorite commercial brands – it all says that destiny of little HIV-positive Ukrainians is in good hands. We were joined by people and companies with thousands of followers, fans and loyal clients. And we believe 18 people of Sushiya team to be thousands of lovers for their food and service. Being so supported, our mobile clinics will easily cover thousands of kilometers of Ukrainian roads on the way to their little patients and rescue thousands of lives”, says Olha Rudneva, the Director of Elena Pinchuk ANTIAIDS Foundation.
